Over the last several months me and my wife have really fallen in love with Publix deli. We eat Publix for lunch and supper all the time now. We prefer it over pretty much everything else. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful here. A special shout out to Michelle and everyone in the Publix deli for always doing such a wonderful job on our subs and hot meals and always being so friendly. We love Publix!
Tonight I wanted a cup of ice. So, I went over and got a cup and decided I would like two cups of ice. I stopped at customer service and put a lid on the cup. The girl at customer service watched me get the ice. No drink, just ice. As I was putting the lids on she rung me up and told me I needed to pay for it. She said the policy has changed that Publix now charges for the cup and ice. So why didn’t you say that before I got it. When you clearly saw me getting it. I don’t know your policies and to tell me after the fact is stupid. She charged me as if I got a fountain drink. I walked out and I sat for a minute. Because I thought well she charged me for a fountain drink I didn’t get. So, I walked back in the store and got the drink from the fountain. She claimed that as of August 1st 2023 Publix is charging for the ice and cup. I said to her well earlier today you were at the service desk and I got ice in front of all of you. You said nothing. She went on to say she didn’t know anything about that. Then said. I would have had to bought a soda in the store to get it for free. Well, I bought groceries and along with those groceries was a 12oz Coke. While she was busy assuming that I was stealing. I have both receipts to show. I’m going to go back and shop at Wilshire because I’m tired of Wells Street negativity and profiling.
Wonderful place to shop. Chris helped me use a small handheld basket to fill my cart. I was using my power wheelchair so I couldn't use a cart. The day I was there I loaded up on BOGO sale so I got $200 of groceries for $132.
Like the convenience of the store to my house. Love the BOGO deals. The only thing I would change is less flour on the fried chicken, sometimes it's overkill. The more crust that you have the more soggy the cold fried chicken will be when taking leftovers out of the fridge. Less is more!
Plenty of parking, plenty of handicapped parking, clean, well stocked, orderly shelves. Personnel friendly, helpful. Love the BOGO, great bakery, deli a little slow . Only complaint is it's smaller than all the other Publix I've been in.
Was at pharmacy. No concerns. They usually take excellent care of my needs! I love Publix. It can be a bit more expensive than other grocery stores, but I'm willing to pay a little more for the consistency in customer service, getting my meds in a timely manner, getting organic foods (especially produce), and getting the things I need when I need them, plus finding someone to help me who's not walking around playing or texting on their phone. That's worth paying a little more at the register. When I walk into other stores, I don't get the same things. I also love the freshly prepared foods and the deli at Publix, and those areas of other stores are often sorely lacking! Keep up the good work!!
Clean, easy to move around. Clearly marked signs with sections. Great deli section. Has a restaurant style area to order sandwiches soups, chicken, etc... hot meals Togo or eat there with area designed for dinning.
This HAS to be the BEST Publix location ever! I constantly travel for work and with family, and this location exceeded all of my expectations! It's extremely clean, everyone is fast and friendly, and even being packed the shelves looked fully stocked!
